Pop and Whitney (my youngest daughter now 17) sitting at the temple waiting for Nate and Cami to have pictures taken. Which one looks the most excited?
Pop and Glenna at Glenna's house in San Diego. We were there for Michaels 16th birthday, it was a wonderfull time.

Dad and Eric at the San Diego Chargers football game. Eric is fixing dad a hot dog. Not sure about you but I think dad wasn't interested.

Two best bud, nothing more need to be said

Harold and Dad at the family Christmas party held at the homestead for 25 years. Its been nice.

Grandpa is out of the hospital as of today Feb. 25th, 2008. Yes you are correct, if you say that it has been an interesting ride, that would be an understatement. I sometimes wish the Doctors in all their wisdom and knowledge would tell you more and to be prepared for events that may or may not happen. I found myself a bit unprepared for what we saw and experienced these last 4 days in the hospital.
Not to go into to much of what happened, but let me say this......there was more than once that we thought by this time next week we will be at his funeral. As usual he pulls through only to be exhausted beyond measure. I posted a few of the pictures we have taken, nothing to exciting, just some family pictures. He is doing well and we thank you once again for your thoughts and prayers.
If you have a chance I will invite you to write a hello to him on this blog, to keep his spirits up. Also if you wish to call him, that would be nice also. This blog is dedicated to those who gave up work time and personal time to sit with dad when he needed it most. Thank you Harold, it's a good thing you work for the government and have so much personal time, because you were tireless in your visits and your care of the old man. You get a gold star!! Kerry and Kay have never been far away and was and always has been close by, with timely visits, big hugs and kisses. I cannot say enough about Glenna and Maren, who living so far away, must have the hardest job of all.......waiting for the daily updates. We know they would have been here if they could. Jody Anderson for the love of her big brother and the interest she has to make sure he is taken care of. Many of you who have made the trek to say hi, you have no idea how much it means to Pop and to us as a family. I got 3 phone calls today from friends of mine who knew Pop was in the hospital. All they wanted to tell me that they have been praying for him to get better soon. Now how nice is that? I would say that there have been many more than that, that we don't know about. Thanks to them also. May I say this to all who were mentioned and those I have missed, you are top drawer to this family, number one, the big kahuna. May my brothers and sisters know that the Lords richest blessings will be with them always, because of the love which you have shown to us all and especially to Dad. He is doing better because of all of your prayers, love and concern
Lynn
